I know I am going to date (and possibly completely embarrass) myself here, but every time I think about my new Current/Elliott Ankle Skinny jeans in Crimson, I hear in my head Sammy Hagar’s song, “Red, red, I want red. There’s no substitute for red…”
Ok, so if you are still here and I haven’t sent you screaming for the exit – allow me to share with you my most recent denim acquisition.
Here is the thing. I have been looking for a pair of red skinny jeans since forever – or well, at least since the onset of the colored denim craze. Something always seemed to get in my way – price, size, style, fit, brand. But finally (should have known my old standby Current/Elliott would come to my rescue) I scored!
The price was crazy cheap (thanks to a LastCall.com sale), the color was just the shade red I wanted (I like to call it Sammy Hagar red – go figure), and the fit was right on (can’t go wrong with Current/Elliott).

As for fit. – I went with my actual true size instead of sizing down one size which is the general trend with C/E. I don’t know, I tend to think Emily and
Merritt know what they are doing when it comes to their sizing choices. That being said – for a really snug fit, go down one size. Honestly, it’s all good!
