Outfit of the Day, featuring Revlon Expression Experiment

I know it's been quite a while since I did an outfit post – I'm so sorry! But I was inspired by Revlon to create a look that I know would work for virtually every reader while adding a bit of everyday fun flare to the look!

So, to kick this off, I wanted to ask: are you guys ready to hear a little secret? I've never worn red lipstick off stage before. Sure, I wore it during theatre (I used to have the most intense blood red lipgloss from Dior that was just insane!), but that's not at all the same thing. Which means that this is an absolute first for me, thanks to the Revlon Expression Experiment!

Revlon sent me a handful of different makeup items to choose from, including eyeshadow, nail polish and more – but what stood out most for me was the red lipstick.

I'll admit: I was a bit hesitant to wear this bright red lip – this, however, is perfect for me. I feel like the outfit is ideal for a fun casual Friday look without going too sloppy. If you add a sultrier top (like this one from BCBG Max Azria) then you can take the whole outfit right to evening.

Also, the Rosebud leggings were a gift from the lovely Indira (thanks, babe!) but I haven't been able to fit back into them until more recently. They're a bit lower than I generally prefer, yet extremely comfortable… so no real complaints here. I'm wearing a size 25 Regular. What do you think – should I keep them around?
