Pair: Current/Elliott The Pony Boy
Wash: Royal Vintage
Cost: $206 (at Revolve Clothing)
Size: 24
I’ve said time and time again how much I love Current/Elliott jeans, and when I put these on this morning, I remembered that you guys still hadn’t seen them on me.
The length is similar to the Boyfriend Cropped jeans (they’re a little bit longer, but not much) and they have a great twisted seam.
These are not the most flattering jeans, but I do absolutely adore them for two primary reasons:
1. Comfort: these are made with some insanely soft and supple denim. I never want to take them off!
2. Cute factor: sure, C. hates these jeans (as he does with virtually all boyfriend jeans that I own) – but even he admits that they have some unknown adorableness to them. Maybe it’s because I am always so upbeat when I have them on!
(See? Definitely a bit of slouchy “diaper” butt – it’s not too bad, but considering that I sized down to a 24, this should give you some idea. These jeans would look great on someone with a little more backside than yours truly.)
Wear these with: chunky heels (wedges are perfect for the warmer seasons!) and a feminine top. Anything cute and girly will offset the looser, more casual look that these jeans provide.
(Did you catch the misspelling?!?)
Grab your own pair of Current/Elliott Pony Boy jeans, and share your thoughts about this brand – and this specific style! – in the comments!
Love,
JP
