I was able to try out the Super Flare Stretch Jeans from Standards & Practices recently, and was both impressed and surprised by some of the great features on these super affordable jeans.
1. Fit and Flare: these jeans are not kidding around when they say they’re a super flare – the 26″ bell gives that away immediately! Despite the big bell, I don’t need to hem these at a 32″ inseam, and love that they give two different inseam options for buyers.
2. Wash: The S&P jeans have a great worn-in, whiskered wear that fits well with the vintage trend they’re going with. Some of the whiskers are a little sharp (and you can tell they’re more machine-made) but they look great and will fade well with regular wear over time.
3. Comfort and Sizing: I’m wearing these in a 25 and they fit perfectly – exactly what I would hope for. I will say that they are a little rougher than super nice jeans, but that’s something that you tend to expect, especially with a price point almost five times less than some of the bigger name competitors.
My thoughts? If you’re looking for an affordable, trendy jean to try this winter, I’d highly recommend the Patch Super Flare from Standards and Practices! Share your thoughts about the brand – and this style – in the comments!
