I’m usually against the gimmicky ideas that drop each new season, but I’ll be honest… I’m biting on the Hudson Jeans Freedom of Movement line.
I was definitely taken aback (in a very good way) by this new style – and even moreso by the ballerina dancing in denim.
Why did I choose these jeans?
1. Comfort: no one – and I mean NO ONE – wants to walk around in the snow in stiff, uncomfortable jeans.
2. Style: The washes available for these new stretch blends are amazing. I love the look of the Melody wash (at left) and the Harmony wash most.
3. Versatility: Beyond the fact that you can obviously do ballet (!!!) in these, they are seasonally acceptable beyond Fall/Winter 2011 styles. And for those of you who need a little oomph in your backside, the Collin Signature Skinny has the best flap pockets for the job.
One downside? The price. These jeans run anywhere from $154-198 – not “out there” at all for Hudson Jeans, but still a bit high.
