What’s the difference between Elizabeth & James and Textile? Elizabeth and James is the more polished of the two – dresses you’d wear around your office (unless you’re more like me, of course), while Textile Elizabeth and James is the casual counterpart with cozy T’s and vintage-inspired denim.
TEXTILE Elizabeth and James releases summer brand campaign images shot in Palm Springs, CA. The six images, featuring iconic T-shirt and denim pairings from the summer and fall collections, depict the carefully crafted aesthetic of the seasons: TEXTILE Elizabeth and James finds inspiration in the California desert, namely a 1969 journey to Joshua Tree, California. The collection channels the glam nonchalance of ’60s rock muses with a dose of Americana. Campaign advertisements are also slated to run in the August and September issues of InStyle Magazine. This marks the first advertising venture for the brand.
Fall collection retail prices range from $75 for a tee to $675 for hand-embroidered jeans. Denim styles generalize in the $195-$235 range. The collection includes classic denim and T styles, colored denim, vintage rib knits, washed-and-worn cardigans and rugged outerwear. Hi-res product and lifestyle brand images available upon request.

I am fairly smitten with the look of this line. It’s not anything particularly new or groundbreaking (but to be fair, what actually is these days?) but Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen have done what they do very well. I’m a fan – we’ll see if we can get a review up on the site soon!
