When Jaime asked me if I wanted to try Silver Jeans Co. jeans, I was super excited but a little apprehensive. I read reviews that said Silver jeans fit curvy women well and I got worried, because I’m not very curvy.
Luckily, I was sent a pair from Silver’s Red Label Fit, which is cut for straighter figures. I love that they’ve filled that niche and can cater to many different body types with their different fits. I got the Silver Jeans Co. Pixie Skinny in Grey, and I absolutely LOVE them. The wash is really nice (I’ve been on a serious grey jeans kick lately) and the fit is so perfect, I’ve worn this pair many, many days since I’ve gotten it.
These fit my lack of curves so well! I got them in my true size. They were a little hard to get on at first, but once they were on, I knew these jeans were amazing. Girls with not a lot of junk in the trunk, rejoice! These are perfect for straighter figures (don’t forget that Silver’s Original Label fit works well with curvier body types though) and I couldn’t be happier with the fit. They are stretchy and fit like a denim legging. I even got a butt compliment while wearing them, among the more general positive comments. The length is pretty perfect, too. It’s a 31” inseam that works well with flats or heels, and also pairs with boots well.
Like I said, the wash is really nice. It’s grey with dark grey stitching. I have seriously been wearing these more often than any of my other pairs lately. The wash works well with lots of my colored tops, especially since I don’t like to wear blue tops with blue jeans. If you haven’t tried grey jeans yet, I really recommend them. They’re not hard to wear, because they are a neutral.
If you have a boyish or straight figure, these jeans would be perfect for your body type. I can’t stress enough how much I think these jeans fit that kind of body shape perfectly. I think it’s great that Silver Jeans Co. created the different “label” fits (Original Label, Red Label) to make jeans for not just one kind of figure. You can get these jeans at Dillards (at a really awesome sale price!) or Macy’s if you’re interested in trying them out.
