Denim Video: Wrangler Blue Bell Spring/Summer 2011 Website

by Jaime on April 3, 2011

Premium denim brand Wrangler Blue Bell plunges through time in its latest ground-breaking website execution.

Shot as a short film, the SS11 creative uses an innovative, interactive split-screen device: two scenes play in parallel – one runs forwards, the other backwards. Viewers can decide which of the parallel scenes to follow, watch two scenes simultaneously, or view most of one scene and a fraction of the other.

The idea of the past being in step with the present reflects the collection. From SS11, jeans, jackets and shirts are Made In USA. Blue Bell returns to its roots, bringing the strength of its American heritage into modern denim clothing.

The story pursues legendary model Tony Ward at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs, California.

What are your thoughts about this new presentation of the Blue Bell collection – and the collection itself? I don’t have any experience with Blue Bell, so I’d love to hear what you think about the line.
