Denim Review: Paige Premium Denim Jadyn Slouchy Trouser

I got the chance to review the new Paige Jadyn Slouchy Trouser in Agave. My pair is a size 25 – with a 9″ front rise (but remember… slouchy!) and a 27″ inseam.

A couple of serious high points about these babies:

- Super soft: the 100% Lyocell fabric has a silk-like feel and makes these light and comfortable. It also helps prevent the cuffs from feeling too binding (something I had a small issue with when I wore my Raven Wren Slouchy Skinnies), which is a definite plus.

- Waistband Details: The pants have a drawstring (which is great, as these are pretty loose in a 25) but also have a flat hook and eye-like metal tab and zipper fly. Even with cinching the drawstring, these pants are meant to sit low on your hips.

- Unique: This is totally unlike anything in my wardrobe which – depending on how you look at it – is either an awesome thing or a challenge. I like to see it as a little bit of both – Jadyn got me out of my comfort zone and pushed me to try some new looks.

Honestly? My biggest issue with these was trying to figure out how to style them. My personal style is less trendy, so I wasn’t exactly sure how to pull it off. What I ended up going with was a denim shirt (from Charley 5.0 – catch it in an earlier Outfit Post) and tucking them into my new Frye Maxine Trapunto Harness boots a la January Jones. I’d love some extra tips on how you’d wear these babies!

What do you think about the Jadyn Slouchy Trouser – would you make this look your own or is it not for you? Share your thoughts in the comments!
