Have you gone on eBay and found a deal that beyond belief on that pair of jeans you’ve just been dying to have? Well, here’s a not-so-secret secret: if it’s too good to be true, it probably is.
It’s not something you think about, but counterfeiting is a huge issue in the premium denim industry. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been spent on these jeans, which means lost revenue for companies… many of which are US-based (considering two of the most frequently counterfeited brands – 7 For All Mankind and True Religion – do a large portion of their design, development and production here in the states).
So, I wanted to ask you guys directly: have you ever bought counterfeit denim? Answer the poll below!
