Denim Brand Review: Henry and Belle Jeans

by Jaime on December 6, 2010

While I’m going through some transitions right now, I’ve been asking some close friends and family to write reviews for me. Michelle hit the jackpot with an amazing pair of Henry and Belle jeans that even get me excited. Enjoy the review!

In the Fall, Jaime mentioned a new brand that I should check out call Henry and Belle.  I am a fan of David Kahn (a designer that is trying to cater to the mid-30s woman who is looking for a great fitting and stylish jean) and it sounded as though Henry and Belle was trying to cater to the same audience.  ME!

A few weeks ago, my favorite pair of skinny jeans bit the dust.  I mentioned to Jaime that I was now in search of a new favorite skinny jean to replace them.  Next thing I know, I have a pair of Henry and Belle Ideal Skinny Jeans on my front porch to try.   I pulled them out of the box to check them out and was instantly impressed.  I had not even tried them on, but already knew I was going to like them.  A true sign of a winner!  They were soft and had the right amount of fade on the thigh area that I was certain they would feel great on and provide the right amount of slimming.

Fast forward to the next day, I pulled these wonderful jeans on with ease and they instantly provides a slimming effect to my legs without feeling too tight or confining.  In fact, they are probably one of the most comfortable skinny jeans I have tried.  Another reason to love these…  the rise is a little more than 8 inches meaning they don’t sit so low that you experience the dreaded muffin top.    The back pockets are minimal and placed just right.  My hubby definitely liked the rearview in these jeans!

I wore these jeans for the majority of my Sunday out running errands and felt comfortable and confident!   My pros for these jeans are:  Just the right rise, super soft denim, right amount of fade on the thigh for slimming and with a little hemming, they can be my go to skinny jeans with heels or boots!

The only cons I have are that I need to be without them for a few days while my tailor hems them!

All in all, I would definitely recommend these jeans for any woman who is still working in many of today’s styles into their wardrobe but is looking for a denim brand that keeps the woman’s body in mind with their designs.

Get Henry and Belle Jeans at National Jean Company.

I have a pair of these same jeans and they’re terrific. This is a brand that really deserves to take off.
