One of my newest pairs of jeans is the Paige Premium Denim Skyline Drive in Storm. This cut is a classic rise ankle peg. Since I’m short, these jeans don’t taper around my ankles, so they’re more like a straight cut where it stops at my ankles. I definitely have to get these hemmed.
Paige generally runs smaller than most denim brands, and that holds true for this pair too. These jeans I took in my true size, and it fits very snugly, I probably could’ve gone up a size but this was the only size left. They are made of 98% cotton and 2% spandex. I would say that while they aren’t the most comfortable pair I own, they definitely flatter my butt. I like the pockets too; they are simple and in the right place on the backside. In the right back pocket, there is a hidden pocket for your ID/credit card. I think it’s a detail that’s common among Paige’s skinny cuts.
The wash, Storm, is a clean dark grey/faded black color. The fading down the thighs and on the butt are really subtle and slimming. Other than the wash being lint-attracting, I have no complaints, and I really like it. I own mostly blue jeans, so this pair adds variety to my collection. There are creases at the hips, which I find a bit unnecessary but they are done well and don’t detract from the jeans.
You can find a similar pair of Paige Skyline jeans here. This is my second pair of Paige Premium Denim, and I think if I do ever get another pair, I’d rather get a pair that is already a good inseam for me, which is around 30″ or so.
Do you own any Paige Premium Denim? What do you think about them?
