Hi JP – I have a pair of Goldsign bootcuts that are simply glorious! The bootcuts (I can’t remember the name) are a higher rise – maybe 8.5″, are a lighter wash but very blue, and have a marvelous feel and stretch to them.
I’m TTS a hair shy of 28, and I sized down to a 27 in them. I think I got them during an Enviius sale, but I can’t be sure. I just know I’m really happy with them. The denim is brushed soft, the stretch is fabulous, and the waistband doesn’t cut across my hip bones and dig into my belly, which is another major plus!
