After I pulled this outfit together, I realized something: the scarf, which has been in my collection for almost a year now, was also a great Marshalls grab.
So, two weeks ago (I know, I’m so behind on my story-telling), I went out to LA to meet with the amazing folks at Marshalls/TJMaxx to learn more about how they do Fall Fashion. They handed over a $100 Gift Card and told the amazing bloggers that were there to shop our hearts out. Two of my purchases landed in this outfit, along with an amazing new pair of jeans courtesy of Jenna at O*T*R. The brand is the little sister line of Anlo, and I just adore this pair!
I went for a twisted casual look today that definitely works with my personal style (I just really, REALLY can’t do sexy. At all. It’s so awkward.) and I am happy with the outfit. Which is rare for me!
What I’m Wearing:
Jeans: O*T*R Riveter Skinny in Rainy Day
Tanks: Vince (from my collection) and Monrow (from Marshalls – $10 marked down from $80!)
Scarf: Krish (also from Marshalls)
Shoes: Franco Sarto (from Marshalls)
The jeans really do fit amazingly, especially for being the lower-priced sister label. But lower priced doesn’t have to mean poor quality! I’m wearing a size 25, and I’d definitely recommend going true to size on this line. The Riveter has a great amount of stretch, but it’s still snug and holds its shape.
