I love clothes, especially denim. I think that’s the best way I could possibly start this out. =) I will be the first to say that I have a pretty impressive denim “collection” (more like my babies hehe). Until a few years ago, I never could see myself shopping at Buckle, though. I was a die-hard Aeropostale and American Eagle girl and I wore nothing else ever … until the day I put on my first pair of jeans at a Buckle store.
I remember the day well. I went in skeptically, looked at a few shirts, and I saw a pair of jeans I liked out of the corner of my eye. They were a pair of Big Star Maddie Jeans in a beautiful slightly faded dark wash and, from the moment I tried them on, I was hooked. With their jeans, I have learned, trying on is the best policy as sizes can vary even within the same brand. Ordering online becomes less tricky after you learn the fits a bit more. Believe me, I’ve learned that from experience. I wear everything from a 27 to a 30, and I prefer to try them on and not order “blindly”. It cuts down on returns.
If there are 2 things that stand out to me about shopping at Buckle, it’s the A-MAZING customer service. You cannot beat it anywhere you shop, in my honest opinion. They truly get to know you, your style, your sizes, etc. It is their job to sell you clothes, but they never make it seem like a job. I always feel welcome and at home, no matter which Buckle I go shopping in. The other thing that stands out to me is the unbeatable selection. The brands they offer are out of this world. The stores don’t all carry the same merchandise as on the website, but if they don’t have something you want, they can and will special order it for you. Other than Nordstrom and a few awesome online stores (and sample sale sites), I shop exclusively at Buckle because of the reasons I mentioned above. I never go wrong in there!
Another great aspect of shopping at Buckle is the 60-day layaway program they offer. It’s perfect, especially around holiday gift-giving season. However, I’m not one who needs the holidays as an excuse to layaway something and I’ll do it all year round. I admit that I have a pretty good layaway going right now that I’ll be pulling out on Sept 1st =)
What I’m wearing:
Tank Top: BKE
Jeans: 7 For All Mankind Dojo in New York Dark
Shoes (not pictured): Naughty Monkey Flaunt It Wedges in Black and White
Buckle has a vast price range, from $15 up to $200+, and there is always, always a sale. Do I recommend going in there and giving it a try if you haven’t? Absolutely! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain from shopping in my favorite store, Buckle!
