It’s affordable, on-trend… and today, it’s on Gilt! Blank NYC, a brand under $100 that I genuinely like (which seems to be fairly rare these days), will be on Gilt Groupe today at 12pm EST.
I own a couple of pairs of Blank Jeans (or [BLANK NYC], depending on how branded we want to get here!) and I really like them. At the expected price points (I figure they’ll be at $40 and below… anything higher than than isn’t that great of a deal), this is a sale to shop… make sure to go True to Size.
Here’s a little brand background:
It’s a wonder no one else thought of it first: premium denim with decidedly un-premium price tags. Two NYC designers, Emmy Lauridsen and Leigh Brown have taken jeans into new territory, and the results are as edgy as they come. Razor-slim cuts get treated to destroyed washes and embellishments like lengthy leg zippers and pyramid studs. (The latter style is a favorite of Ashlee Simpson and Megan Fox.) Since the brand’s first runaway hit in 2007, the Skinnie Classique jean, [BLANK] has expanded to include tops, skirts and dresses. With creative style names — the Sexting vest, the Chain Gang jacket — this label is clearly having fun with fashion, and so are its fans.
