Denim Review & Giveaway: Meltin’ Pot Jeans (CLOSED)

Italian jeans just suit my soul so wonderfully… especially ones as lovely as these Meltin’ Pot jeans. The Mika style fits my preferred denim aesthetic perfectly: slim, with a clean medium wash and a comfortable fit.

And, let’s be honest… a little stretch in your denim never hurts!

This Italian-based line has been around for quite some time, but hasn’t really gotten the stateside recognition I believe it deserves. After all, the jeans are flattering, well-made and affordably priced (at around $130 US for the Mika!)… what’s not to love?

I will admit, they’re hard to find in the states. It’s kind of disappointing (though Yoox has been known to carry a decent selection), but if you can get your hands on a pair, I’d highly recommend it. I’m a little put off by the metallic decor on the back pocket and label, but I wear tunics and oversized tees almost exclusively… it’s an easy fix.

I’m wearing the 26/32 (that’s 26 waist, 32″ inseam), and it fits quite True to Size. Those of you who are in between sizes like me, I’d recommend going for the larger size.

With a front rise at my favorite length (8″), I’m happy and quite comfortable in these, and I know you will be too.

  1. I like the graphics and the fact that there’s free shipping everywhere! That makes a big difference when buying from international sites! :)

  2. Main entry

I like the graphics on the webpage ’cause of it’s cool people flying on blimps which seems to represent their tag line “I dream I am”
I also like the name “Melting Pot” It’s such a unique name for a company since melting pot sounds like something a chocolate company would be called.

  4. I love the I dream I am slogan for the brand. In addition, like you said a little bit of stretch never hurts.

  5. When I clicked on the site, it gives an option of countries, the only one that speaks English on the list was Ireland, so I picked that to get english! Anyways, I like the Marlyne capris. Very cute!

  6. I’ve got to agree the free shipping is a huge plus. It looks like a fun website and brand of denim.

  7. I like how easy it is to see the different views of the items. It’s definitely one of the more fun sites to poke around!

  8. First & foremost, I love that it is Italian! I am in love with Italy & all things related ;P … As far as the language on the website goes, I clicked on “United Kingdom” for an easy fix! I actually find this really convenient because I was going crazy trying to find the “English” button on a website today after everything turned to Spanish! Wheew. Lastly, I love the overall design of the website.

  9. I love the creativity that went into it, the picture of all the buildings, color and the people riding on the thingys,,,what ever they are lol :) And I really like their jeans!!!
