When I went through the top five denim jackets, and I added cropped jackets to the list… this is not what I meant. You can quote me on that.
I definitely do have to give props to these people who make these amazing, upcycled pieces. It’s not easy work… and it’s definitely not easy to put yourself out there to be judged by the likes of me (and it’s not like I have the talent or balls for this stuff!).
But part of putting yourself out there? Well… there’s no guarantee that everything you make will be good.
This is one of them.
This jacket is clearly made from a pair of jeans. If you can’t tell from this, you need to check out the other pictures on the etsy listing. Because it really is.
All in all, this isn’t the worst thing we’ve seen (though the butt pockets on the back are really no good), but that doesn’t mean it isn’t Wreck-worthy.

I think this is worse then the denim dresses. Why would anyone wear this?
Sometimes they push designs a lot
I can appreciate the effort. I like the idea of it, and the idea of it in denim. I even appreciate the repurposed jeans. But I don’t like it made out of jeans.
I’ve actually seen somewhere wearing this jacket (or maybe something from the same designer) over here in London just this past week! It was the butt pockets on the back that reminded me because I thought it was just as crazy in person!
