If we’re lucky, you won’t be seeing a maternity post coming from me any time soon. Man, that would put a cramp in my denim blogging (though it would open up a whole new world to try out, I suppose!). But luckily, I’ve gotten some great tips from Sarah at REUSE Jeans who is about six months along and just did a major shop-fest to find great jeans that offer comfort and style for those of you with child. Here are her three favorites:
“I tried on about 20 pairs of jeans in the store and all the major brands. There is truly something to be said for the secret fit belly (stretch top). You’d never know how much we’ve all been torturing ourselves with silly zippers and buttons. I demand to look cute pregnant, not fat pregnant!
I bought a size Medium and normally wear a 29 x 34. These fit really cute and snug, clean back and a bit shorter length, since I’m tall. They look almost like a cigarette jean, and one of my favorites to dress up a bit with a cute pair of heels.
I got these is a size 29 and they are long enough for me to wear with heels. Very comfy! They don’t look quite as flared on me as they do on this model.
These I had to get in a size 31, which was depressing. There were also 2 lengths available in store if my memory serves me, so I got the longer one. Also, the wash I have is a bit darker. (They don’t fit me at all like they fit the model)”
