I was sent a pair of the Power Skinny in Blue Vintage to try out. Here are the shots:
I’m wearing a size 25, and this specific pair has an 8″ rise and 29″ inseam (perfect for flats or heels). They have a snug, legging-like fit with a great stretch and soft, comfortable fabric. The retail price for these is $138.
I know, I know… the pattern is louder than what I usually wear. But that’s one of the benefits of denim – you can get something different and throw it in with your everyday pairs – even if these aren’t for everyone.
The Power Skinny runs from a 23-32 and I definitely recommend going true to size. If you’re between sizes like me, size down… these have a lot of stretch and they are quite forgiving.
A pair of jeans like this isn’t right for every occasion. Between the mild abrasions, the vibrant bleaching and the fit, they’re not precisely work friendly, but they are FANTASTIC jeans for a night out. I paired mine with a simple white tee, black boyfriend blazer and jeans to add a bit of polish to the look, but you have a multitude of options!
Oh, did I say you? Yep, that’s right… one of you will be taking home your very own pair of GUESS Power Skinny Jeans in Blue Vintage wash!
