While these aren’t the best pictures of me in the world, I couldn’t wait to share them with you because I have fallen in love…
with a pair of denim leggings! Meet the Brentwood Studded Skinny from Tag Elements. Made with a double-knit stretch fabric and medium 8″ rise, the Brentwood Skinny comes in black, charcoal, celtic blue, autumn brown, jungle green and burgundy.
It’s a little bit on the pricier end at $139, but they fit and feel amazing. Size range is from 24-32, but I’d personally recommend sizing down for a legging look (I’m wearing a 25 and if I were buying these, I’d definitely go down to a 24). They’re long – about 32″ inseam – but easy to tuck under for a quick and dirty “hem” (since I have to send these puppies back, I couldn’t alter them in any way).
Why are these perfect for summer? The lightweight, stretchy fabric has enough give for warm days and the studs give them a look of structure, making them great to pair with basics like I did above (hopefully your posture is better than mine).
Jacket: Levi’s Vintage – inherited from my uncle (also seen here)
Shoes: Apt 9
Earrings: totally unknown (I jacked them from my little sister about three years ago… sorry, K!)
Here are some detail shots of the studs:
Will you be heading to grab a pair of these for yourself, or do you think you could do better with something else? If you’re handy with a studding gun (I’m definitely not), you may be able to recreate this look on your own. If you know how, please email me… I want to see pics!
