New Denim Brand: Resin Denim

They’ve been picked up by Barney’s, so you know that they’re going to be all over soon. Resin Denim is definitely one to look out for!

Chris Gilbert, the former President of Paper Denim & Cloth, recently joined creative forces with designers Chantel Valentene and Durango Adams for his newest project, Resin Denim. “Our concept is one based on exploration of denim and what it means to the individual,” says Adams. Taking inspiration from the immediate environment the NYC-based brand creates denim that reflects American styling and city-worn aesthetics. “We can’t help but to absorb the energy and confidence that thrives in the mix of individuals,” adds Valentene. Rather than focusing on how to find a void in the market or design the next “it” jean, Resin focuses on creating the perfect jean for its female and male customers. Its core women’s style is the Catalyst, an every day skinny, while the Cain, a straight fit, is the key men’s model. The jeans retail at OAK, Fred Segal, Barney’s, Shopbop.com, RevolveClothing.com. The brand is also available at Nano Universe in Japan and will debut next season throughout Europe.

I’m loving these Resin Catalyst Skinny Jeans in Glacier… the brand has a lot of character and I’m excited to see where they go!
