Denim Philanthropy: Recession Denim Donates to Feed the Children

by Jaime on January 7, 2010

Sure, the holiday season may be over, but that doesn’t mean it’s time to stop trying to make a difference. Take a page from Recession Denim, who recently donated 300 pairs of fleece leggings from the Fall collection and also donated proceeds of their holiday sales to Feed The Children’s Truck Sponsorship. Check out the post on DenimHunt about this for a little more information.

Why did they do this?

“The inspiration behind Recession Denim is that an amazing pair of jeans should be available to everyone, regardless of their budget,” says Daniella Siri, founder of Recession Denim. “Now when they buy a pair of Recession Jeans, they will also be helping children and families across America who are suffering because of the current economy.”

Talk about fabulous… I love it when a new brand (especially one that’s as affordable as Recession Denim) does something so wonderful for those in need. Have you tried Recession Denim? If not, are you more interested in the brand after hearing about what they’re doing?

Love,
JP
