Premium Denim Brand Review: dVb Jeans

Like many things that I’ve boycotted for positively ridiculous reasons, the entire line of dVb denim falls under that category. I’m sorry, Victoria. I know you’re a fashion maven, I know you’re a style queen… but what does that have to do with my denim?

As it turns out… a whole lot more than I expected. dVb denim is, in a single word, sexy. Great washes, great styles, great cuts… the biggest complaint I have (beyond the obscenely ridiculous price tag that is originally attached to these babies) is the length.

I cannot wear a 35″ inseam. I’m 5′5. So, these darlings get to go to the tailor (or, if I’m feeling cheap, go to the BF and his wonderful pile of talents) for a big hemming. But, this is a huge step for the tall girls of the world. All of you who actually need a bit of length in your denim… these jeans offer it in spades. And, they look better than even I expected.

My dVb Jeans, hemmed up and wearable!

Plus, they’re versatile when it comes to body type. Whether you're pulling out a pair with a Super Flare or some sexy straight leg jeans (like you see me in above), there's something available for virtually every shape. There is, however, something to note about the sizing. dVb denim runs a size small. There are a couple of pairs out there that run true to size, but for the most part, the jeans in this line run small. Size up.

And really, guys... don't pay full price for these. I snagged my pair for $45 (marked down from a borderline ridiculous $220) and they go on sale often. Find a good deal and these babies are worth it.

Love,
JP
