Rock & Republic SS10 in Paris

by Jaime on October 13, 2009

Rock and Republic rocked Paris during Fashion Week, and I’m actually really excited about some of these shots, mostly because of the literary reference: one of my absolute favorite books.

Read a little bit more about the event:

Rock & Republic returned to Paris to host their now signature event at the historic Hôtel de Crillon, Tuesday October 6th.

The event, hosted by Rock & Republic President Andrea Bernholtz, debuted a film of the Spring 2010 collection by fashion photographer Paola Kudacki. Rock & Republic Creative Director Michael Ball’s inspiration for the collection and film comes from Nabakov’s Lolita and its themes of sweet naïveté, sexual innocence and restraint.

Interesting place to take inspiration from denim (these are the boy’s words, but I totally agree), but I like what they’ve done… and I love their leather work. What do you think; do you like this, or do you prefer the tried-and-true styles that Rock & Republic usually go with?
