It’s amazing how much time a job can take up and, while I actually really do like it (the people seem awesome thus far and I love what I’m doing), I miss my denim updates and reviews.
Luckily, they let me wear jeans to work.
So, as a little sneak peek, here’s what’s coming up this week:
- A review of Miss Me jeans (complete with JP pictures)
- Some information and a review on The Uncommon Thread boutique, a local, woman-run denim boutique in Denver that I’m in LOVE with.
- A review of Hudson’s brand new Denim Legging (which I got to get a pair of… lucky me!)
- A couple of outfit posts (hopefully… this one is still tentative, since I can’t get C. out of bed by the time I leave for work).
As for me? I’ve been busy working and sleeping. The job is wonderful and the commute, while overwhelmingly long, is actually pretty relaxing and I’m enjoying it.
Also, I’d like to tell you guys a little bit more about that brand, Market, that you saw in a recent outfit post. When I got the shirt, it had a little tear in it – nothing big, but I couldn’t really wear it out of the house since it was right at the boobal region. I emailed them to let them know (and explicitly said “hey, I totally don’t expect you to get me a new one since this was free, but heads up on the packaging”) and they sent me a brand new shirt.
I was so impressed. The prices are great (they’re an amazing basic staple piece) and they’re kind of the little sister of a brand I trust and like (Rebecca Beeson)… only way cheaper. The Milla, the boyfriend style I’m wearing in the outfit post, is $33. This may seem like a lot to you, but compared to the price of an Alternative Apparel, Saint Grace, Ella Moss, Splendid or any of the other popular cotton/modal blended tees, they’re obscenely well priced. Go check them out. Buy stuff. Make me proud.
