Capsule Collaboration: Robert Geller and Levi Strauss for Fall/Winter 2009

by Jaime on September 11, 2009

First photo courtesy of Hypebeast, second from Complex, all others from Bloomingdale’s.

Because it was launched for New York Fashion Week (and because I love looking at new takes on old styles), here are some shots from the Robert Geller x Levi’s collaboration. Prices run from $195 for the Gradient Shirt up to $575 for the Modified Parka (there is also a t-shirt, seen above, in the line for $95, I’m just focusing on the denim). It’s all only men’s pieces (sorry, ladies!), but they’re fabulous to look at and such a refreshing take on the latest vintage styles.

All eleven items of the capsule collection are available exclusively at 12 Bloomingdale’s stores, on and in seven Levi’s stores in New York, San Francisco, Miami Beach, Beverly Hills and Bucktown, Ill., beginning Sept. 10, 2009.

Never heard of Robert Geller? The German-born, Rhode Island School of Design grad is best known for his work with Marc Jacobs & Cloak, and started his namesake line is 2007. There’s a great interview of him here if you’d like to learn more.
