So, pretty much at this point in time, I’m going to be saving my money. Don’t really have much of a choice, now do I? But, how to go about this?
C. and I lead a pretty extravagant lifestyle, especially for the amount of money we both don’t make. We go out a lot (hell, yesterday we went to Qdoba, just because I was craving it.), and I tend to spend money on… well, on denim. I know it’s bad, but that’s why they call it an addiction, right?
Well, some things need to change. First and foremost, I need to change my spending habits. And sometimes the best way to do that is to change your outlook on shopping.
I HATE cutting coupons. Like, royally hate it. They suck, there’s no way around it. But Minnow of Minnow’s Pond, who is actually someone I consider to be amazing in her own right, is getting me to shift gears. For starters, she hooked me by finding me a coupon for free Sopapillas at On the Border (which is pretty much God’s gift to my tummy, and curse to my waistline)… and it went from there.
I check her blog everyday, because she’s always got something new and interesting, whether it’s a new sample of skincare items or a food item I should try.
Plus… the girl’s got a great sense of style, and loves J Brand just as much (okay, maybe not just as much, but close!) as I do… and I’d say that even if she didn’t have a kickass blog.
Love,
JP
